Deborah Busby
Deb Busby is the author of her memoir Confessions of a Recovering Mormon published by Sterling House Publishers, 2009.
Her novel, The Sacrifice, is a military, love story set in Afghanistan 2010. It is a novel of governmental, religious, and social conflicts during a time of war which influences the relationship between a soldier shot down in a battle fighting the Taliban and the Afghan woman who rescues him from certain death to the detriment of her and her mother’s safety. Published by kNight Romance Publishing.

Then there is Turning Point, clearly a moving novel for anyone who has experienced a domineering relationship and/or abuse, the death of a parent whom you never wanted to disappoint, and the realization that in order to break free your feet must leave the ledge in that leap of faith. Published by kNight Romance Publishing.

With Changing Hands, Busby purges long-buried memories of having to give up her own child at a young age. Sadie knows the best she can give Hayden is a life she will not be able to provide. Time nor distance nor all the forces of the universe are able to prevent the inevitable...

She has earned a Master of Education and a Master of Arts: English from Northern Arizona University. Deb is also an English instructor at Chandler-Gilbert Community College where she helps young, aspiring writers learn the how-to’s of college writing. She lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband and children. www.confessionsofarecoveringmormon.com.
