Her novel, The Sacrifice, is a military, love story set in Afghanistan 2010. It is a novel of governmental, religious, and social conflicts during a time of war which influences the relationship between a soldier shot down in a battle fighting the Taliban and the Afghan woman who rescues him from certain death to the detriment of her and her mother’s safety. She has earned a Master of Education and a Master of Arts: English from Northern Arizona University.
